U.S. Army Garrison Okinawa Commander and Jedi Knight, Lt. Col. Lance O'Bryan spoke to more than 500 students at the Amelia Earhart Intermediate School's Red Ribbon Week Oct. 24 about the dangers of the Dark Side and staying drug free.

O'Bryan said that once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny ... consume you it will. He also encouraged the students to embrace the Force and stay drug free.

Batman was also on scene, along with Little Red Riding Hood and the Garrison's Army Substance Abuse Prevention team, which handed out red-ribbon-themed giveaways.

Red Ribbon Week is the Nation's oldest and largest drug-prevention campaign, reaching millions every year.
