KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Eighteen Kadena master sergeants were selected for promotion Feb. 28.

The Air Force selected 1,367 master sergeants of the 12,834 eligible, for a 10.65-percent selection rate.

The Kadena senior master sergeant selects are:
