MCIPAC CG proclaims April “Child Abuse Prevention Month”

Maj. Gen. Charles L. Hudson signs a proclamation stating that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month April 2 on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The proclamation calls “upon all community members, advocacy and treatment agencies, religious organizations, law enforcement agencies and medical facilities to increase their participation in efforts to prevent child abuse, thereby strengthening the community in which we live.” The Family Advocacy Program has counselors and services available to all military members and their families. Hudson is the commanding general of Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan.
