Cpl. Sterling Pereira, left, and Cpl. Mark Burgos remove litter from a bush during a clean-up event Feb. 25 in Uruma City, Okinawa, Japan. Volunteers picked up trash from the Uruma City area surrounding Camp Courtney. The clean-up project serves to strengthen the relationship between Marines and Okinawa residents by fostering positive community involvement that benefits the environment. Sterling is a military policeman with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group. Burgos is an administrative specialist with III MEF.
