WHY: Photo opportunities of the grand opening ceremony remarks, ribbon cutting, and center tour. Interviews available with Carly Harris, Regional Vice President USO Pacific, Robin Miller, Area Director USO Okinawa, and Marines of Camp Courtney. Lunch, coffee, and cake will be available.

The new center on Camp Courtney is a partnership effort between the USO Okinawa, Camp Courtney, and MCI-PAC. This is a brand new USO location featuring a kitchen, flat screen TVs, current video gaming systems, and laptops for check-out. Additionally, the center features comfortable seating, an outdoor patio and grill, free beverages and snacks, and free calls home. USO Camp Courtney is located in the Courtney Bowl and follows the volunteer-driven, approach. The center will be open daily from 1600 to 2200 Monday through Friday.
