Military Child

When I first got to Guam, I was scared that no one would like me in school. But when I got to school, I made many friends in class. I did not know what Guam culture was until my culture teacher, Mrs. Santos taught me Hafa Adai. I like living here in Guam.

Sometimes being a military child is fun, but sometimes it is not. For example, going to new places, meeting new people, and trying new foods are great experiences. There are also not so fun things like leaving your best friend behind, and waiting for your dad for nine months with no one except your mom, and your sister. But the good part is when my dad comes back, he brings gifts for my mom, my sister, and me. I love being a military child.
