Classic ginger pork

Ingredients:

• 1 pound thinly sliced pork, cut into bite-size pieces
• 2 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
• 3 Tbsp soy sauce
• 2 Tbsp mirin (sweet rice wine for cooking)
• 1 Tbsp sake
• Sesame seeds (optional)
• Shredded cabbage
• Cooked white rice

Directions:

1. Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and grated ginger in a bowl.
2. Marinate pork for 5 minutes.
3. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
4. Stir-fry the pork slices on medium heat until cooked through.
5. Serve ginger pork with shredded cabbage and cooked white rice.
6. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
 
Yield: 4 servings
