JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- The Air Force selected 211 Airmen today for promotion via the enlisted in-system supplemental promotion process.

Army Directive 2017-28, signed Dec. 7, 2017, aims to ensure that in the future, enough Soldiers in the grades specialist and sergeant will be integrated onto the promotion-recommended list for promotion to sergeant or staff sergeant. The result will be that more fully-qualified Soldiers get to see promotion, and the Army gets to fill leadership slots. (Photo Credit: U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Jose Ibarra)
