U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Christopher Skeen, 44th Aircraft Maintenance Unit engine specialist, awaits instruction during joint-aircraft training with the 18th Component Maintenance Squadron July 16, 2018, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. In order to support contingency operations, Airmen who perform engine maintenance must become familiar with the airframe they are assigned to, its engine limits, emergency procedures and technical orders.
