Cpl. Collin Underdahl participates in a live-fire assault on Range 2, a machine gun range in the central training area of Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, during Blue Chromite 17, Nov. 3, 2016. Blue Chromite is a U.S. – only exercise which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps expeditionary, amphibious rapid-response capabilities based in Okinawa and the greater Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Underdahl from Apple Valley, California, is an infantryman with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, a forward deployed unit from Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, to 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force based in Okinawa, Japan.
