Check out the Schwab Fest today and tomorrow
Attention festival-lovers! Another weekend festival is just around the corner.
The Camp Schwab Festival will be held Saturday March 23 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday March 24 from 1 to 9 p.m. on the Marine Corps Installation on the northeast coast of the island.
The rock band Halestorm, of “Love Bites (So Do i)”-fame, is scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Country singer-song writer Frankie Ballard will take the stage Sunday at 7 p.m.
Before the music, there will be other entertainment on stage, as well as static vehicle displays and inflatable bounce houses and game booths for the kids. If you get hungry, visit one of the food booths selling burgers, BBQ, pizza and more. Alcohol will be served at this event, so don’t forget to drink responsibly.
With the weather on the island warming up, it’s looking like it’s going to be a great weekend at Camp Schwab to spend time with your friends and family while listening to some rock tunes.
