Scot Garner, General Manager of Construction for American Engineering Corporation (AEC), presented their 2019 Silver Sponsorship-level donation to Phil VanEtten, USO Okinawa Area Director. A long-time support of USO Okinawa, AEC’s donation enables major events like the 2019 USO Okinawa Service Salute and 2019 USO Okinawa Color Run.

“AEC’s support to USO Okinawa goes back many years. In fact, we recently found the program for the USO Okinawa Inaugural Service Salute held in 1971. The program recognizes AEC as a proud supporter of USO Okinawa and that first Service Salute were distinguished active duty service members were recognized. Without their support, it would be a real challenge for us to complete our mission,” VanEtten said. “The generosity of AEC has a direct, immediate, and positive affect on the lives and morale of U.S. Service Members and their families. We are truly grateful to AEC for their continued sponsorship. USO Okinawa and AEC are strong partners in helping do great things for our U.S. military community here on the island of Okinawa.”
