AFN Airing Royal Wedding Live on AFN news on May 19

The American Forces Network (AFN) will broadcast the wedding of His Royal Highness, Prince Henry of Wales, to American Meghan Markle live from St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle May 19 on AFN|news.

AFN’s live coverage will begin at 11 a.m. Central European Time (CET)/6 p.m. Japan/Korea Time (JKT) while guests arrive at Windsor Castle’s famous Round Tower. Royal family members arrive at 12:20 p.m. CET/7:20 p.m. JKT, concluding with the arrival of the Queen. By protocol, she is the last member of the family to enter, coming in immediately before the service.

The actual wedding ceremony begins at 1 p.m. CET/8 p.m. JKT. AFN|news will air the ceremony without commercial interruption.

AFN’s coverage continues at 2 p.m. CET/9 p.m. JKT after the service as the royal newlyweds travel through the town of Windsor in a horse-drawn carriage.

AFN|news will air additional reporting from Windsor according to availability from our regularly scheduled sources and subject to any breaking news.
