Air Force, Marines perform joint FARP training
A U.S. Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk assigned to the 33rd Rescue Squadron descends slowly toward a landing zone Aug. 27, 2020, at Torri Station, Japan. Servicemembers from both the Marines and Air Force performed a joint forward area refueling point training event with a goal of exchanging tactics, training and procedures with each other. This type of joint FARP training enables U.S. military power projection through the refueling of aircraft operating in forward deployed locations across the Indo- Pacific region.
