Army BOSS volunteers participate in the Joint Peace Memorial Park Clean-up

37 Army BOSS volunteers participated in the Joint Peace Memorial Park Clean-up June 15. Over 12,000 volunteers joined the event from JGSDF, JMSDF, JASDF, Veteran's Association, Defense Association, U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines. This clean-up was done one week before Okinawa Memorial Day, which is observed annually on June 23 to remember the lives lost during the Battle of Okinawa.
