Get ready for Camp Foster end-of-summer block party, sleepover events Aug. 22-23

Two events you won’t want to miss are coming to Camp Foster just in time to kick off the upcoming school year.

First, join the Foster Youth Center for the End of Summer Block Party. The festivities kick off from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 22 and will feature games food and music at Bldg. 24. This is an opportunity to learn more about the center’s programs and upcoming events occurring during the school year. This event will be fun for the entire family so make sure to add it to your calendar.

Next, the center will also be hosting a Teen Glow Party, an overnight event for teens ages 13-18 on Aug. 23 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.  Also at Bldg. 24 the lock-in sleepover will include food, games, movies and promises to be  a lot of fun. Teens must be enrolled in high school to be able to attend the event. Transportation will be provided from local MCCS Teen Centers, so make sure to check with your local center for more information. And don’t forget your sleeping bag!

Summer is almost over and there’s no better way to kick off a great school year with two fun events.
