Despite the oft-repeated myth, Coca-Cola did not in fact invent the modern image of a fat, jolly, red-and-white-clad Santa Claus. Kind of a moot point though, now that the soft drink has become virtually synonymous with Christmas.

It is the time of the year and Santa Clause is busy getting ready to see all the children who have been good this year. Santa knows where those children are even if you and your family are stationed on faraway bases in the Pacific.  

Overcrowding is a serious problem in America’s animal shelters. According to the ASPCA, an estimated 1.5 million animals are euthanized every year due to overcrowding — and that’s only dogs and cats.
 

While the holidays are a joyful time, they can also be a source of stress. Learning how to handle that stress can keep the holiday season enjoyable.
