CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan – Marines with 7th Communication Battalion hosted a Women’s Centennial Brunch Aug. 10 at the Palms on Camp Hansen.

The brunch served as an opportunity for all Marines to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of women serving in the Marine Corps.

Marines are known for always being ready for any obstacle that may come their way. Historically, Marines have fought up mountains, through jungles, and across deserts. Nowadays combat is few and far between; however, Marines continue to train in austere terrain to keep their skills sharp and to continue bettering their techniques.
