U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. William J. Bowers signs the annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation with Marine Corps Community Services Counseling and Advocacy Program, Oct. 2, 2019 on Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler Okinawa, Japan. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the proclamation signing is held to signify the importance of preventing domestic violence.
