Pacific Okinawa Players announces their upcoming  production, Seussical. This fun filled, full length family musical is based on the characters and stories of Dr. Seuss.

"Oh, the thinks you can think" when your favorite Dr. Seuss characters, The Cat in the Hat, Horton, Jojo, Gertrude, Mayzie and more, come together on stage for a musical extravaganza!  Come see where Jojo’s thinks will lead him as The Cat in the Hat takes him on a magical adventure through the Jungle of Nool and the Planet of Who.   The cast of characters (ages 8 to adult) includes many incredibly talented newcomers to POPs in addition to some of your favorite performers from past POPs shows.

Morgan England is making her POPs directing debut with Seussical. She is supported by musical director, Melanie Bales, and assistant director, Christine Smith.  Other lead production team members include Brian Turco (stage manager), Liz Moore (choreographer), and Anne Rogers (costumer).

Seussical will run May  3rd-12th, with evening performances (7PM) on Fridays and Saturdays and matinee performances (2PM) on Saturdays and  (1PM)  on Sundays.  All performances will be held at the Camp Foster Community Center Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for youth (ages 3-HS students) and $15 for adults.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at  www.pacificokinawaplayers.org.  Remaining seats will be sold at the door while supplies last.  The box office opens 1 hours before the show time.
Seussical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International (MTI).  All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.  www.MTIShows.com.
