Derrek Ferguson, a welder with General Support Maintenance Company, 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, grinds a piece of steel July 9, 2018 at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. GSM Co. is the largest Marine Corps metalworking shop in the Indo-Pacific region, providing III Marine Expeditionary Force with capabilities to manufacture a multitude of parts and components. Ferguson is a native of Habersham, Georgia.
