Trick or Treat to take place on Lester

Camp Lester is going to host a trick-or-treat event on Monday, October 31. It will be in Upper & Lower Lester between 5 and 7 p.m. that kids knock and get the candy. This event will be open to local nationals. The gate will open for them starting at 4:30 p.m. There will be restrictions on parking on the Marine Corps installation. Local National Vehicles (Must include at least one child with costume) will be admitted from 1630. No “tourists.”

Guest Parking for non-Lester residents will be in the Lester Middle School OVERFLOW area and former US Naval Hospital Camp Lester lot. Escorts and signs provided.

Vehicle movement inside Lower and Upper Lester will be restricted. Resident Parking in those locations.

Trick-or-Treating in Upper & Lower Lester for local National guests occurs 1700 – 1900. No DTCNs & 100% ID.

Safety and security patrols in the festivity areas will be increased by 20 marines and 5 civilians.

Single Marine program is providing other volunteers.

AAFES GM has agreed to market additional candy bags at AFFES Lester PX. DeCA has candy bags as of this writing (some may not have Halloween logos; all have sugar!)
