U.S. Ambassador to Japan visits 1st MAW Marines in Okinawa

William Hagerty, U.S. Ambassador to Japan, lands at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, November 14, 2017 after flying in an MV-22B Osprey attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262.

Hagerty visited Okinawa Prefecture, where he met with Japanese government and U.S. military officials.

VMM-262 belongs to Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, which is stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
