U.S. Army BOSS volunteers visit the Senior Citizen Care Home
U.S. Army Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) volunteers from 1-1 ADA (Air Defense Artillery) visited the Yomitan-no Sato, Senior Citizen Care Home to support their daily recreational activities on Aug. 21.
Spc. Ryan Webb and Spc. Chris Sanders participated in a variety of activities, ranging from stretching exercises, games and finally a bit of dancing. They played the "Patting Game" in which volunteers helped set up targets and cheered for participants. A 101-year-old resident won the day! Fun was had by all. After the activity, volunteers shook hands and promised to return soon.
