Service members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force present salutes during the playing of the U.S. and Japanese national anthems during the opening ceremony of the Yama Sakura 71 exercise Dec. 7, 2016, at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan. YS 71 is an annual, bilateral exercise with the JGSDF and the U.S. military.
