The USAG Okinawa Army BOSS Program supported the monthly book reading event at a local preschool in Yomitan Village on Jun. 28. Spc. Brooke Green and Spc. Janna Cook from Echo Company, 1-1 ADA, participated and read a Japanese children's classic "The Rolling Rice Ball." The children also enjoyed learning English words using flashcards and learned "Bitter Melon" which is the tropical vegetable known as Goya and very popular here in Okinawa.

"This was my first time to participate in this event and I definitely want to come back again!" said Spc. Green.

The next book reading event will be July 26.
