USS Green Bay during Talisman Saber 2015 July 11th
INDIAN OCEAN (July 10, 2015) Soldiers from the Japan Ground Self Defense Force and Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) move a combat rubber raiding craft to the aft end of Landing Craft Utility 1631, assigned to Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, after participating in an amphibious assault exercise with. NBU 7 is embarked onboard USS Green Bay and is in the Indian Ocean participating in Talisman Sabre 2015. Talisman Sabre is a bilateral exercise intended to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and conducting combined task force operations.
