Today's Japanese phrase is: “Mosugu kurismas desu!" = Christmas is just around the corner! ("mosugu" = soon / around the corner, "kurismas"= Christmas, ".. desu" = it is../they are..)
You can also say... "Mosugu oshogatsu desu!" = New Year is just around the corner! ("oshogatsu" = New Year's celebration)
