VIDEO: Speakin’ Japanese: I’ve caught a cold
Its’ that time of the year when the temperature drops rapidly, and some of us tend to have health problems like catching cold. It would be great if we could avoid that.
But if not, try this phrase:
“Kaze wo hikimashita” which means “I’ve caught a cold.”
Repeat after me.
“Kaze wo hikimashita.”
(“Kaze” – cold, “Hikimashita”–drew [or caught, in this context])
Ok, stay warm, eat chicken soup, and see you in the next episode of speaking Japanese!
