Every now and then, we need some time off, away from our smartphones and without being sucked into the news cycle.

If you think you need some space to breathe, try this phrase:

“Dokoka shizukana basho-ye ikimasho,” which means: “let’s go somewhere quiet.”         

(“Dokoka” – somewhere, “shizukana” – quiet, “basho” – place, “ye” – to, “ikimasho” – let’s go)
