Autumn is a good time to enjoy hiking and trekking. But when you do that, there are things you need to watch out for. So, let’s try this phrase:

“Ashimoto ni kiwotsukete,” which means “watch your step.”

Repeat after me. “Ashimoto ni kiwotsukete.”

(“Ashimoto” – step, “Kiwotsukete”– watch out/be careful )

Ok, let’s have fun safely, and see you in the next episode of Speakin’ Japanese!
