Looking for something different, maybe the beat of a different drum?

Well, look no further than the Ajiru Music Festival, which will be held at the Futenmanzan Jingu-ji Temple near MCAS Futenma and Camp Foster on Saturday, May 26. The festival will feature ethnic music from around the world, including Basque, Korean, Arabian, Taiwanese, Okinawan and more.

But this music fest offers more than just tunes. There will be workshops for Chinese Kempo (martial art) and Samba dance, as well as presentations on belly dancing and Okinawan Karate. And if you have kids, bring them along, as one section of the venue will be set aside for them and will include a magic show.

Like any good festival, there will be several food booths, so bring you appetite.

Join the festival and feel the power of a folky beat.
