"Yakisoba" cooking class at Osoe Community Center

Torii & Yomitan Cultural Exchange Program was held for the second time as "Yakisoba" cooking class at Osoe Community Center on Tue, 20 May 14. The Spouses from Torii Station, Sobe Ward, Toguchi Ward, Oki Ward and Osoe Ward, cooked Yakisoba (stir-fried noodle with meat and vegetables) and fixed two types of mochi (rice cake) desserts, Aemono (vegetable and crabmeat salad), Osuimono (clear bonito broth soup with daikon radish), with local ingredients. While cooking together in the relaxing and fun atmosphere, they enjoyed chatting and discovering similarities and differences among their cultures.
