Camp Schwab service members volunteer at Okinawa nursery school in Nago City

Lance Cpl. Corey Kush takes a selfie with a child at Asunaro Nursery School during an intercultural exchange program March 9 in Nago City, Okinawa, Japan. Kush was part of a team of volunteers from the Camp Schwab community who visit three different schools on a monthly basis. The volunteers and children played games, walked to a playground, and practiced their Japanese and English language skills. Kush is a Landenburg, Pennsylvania, native, and a rifleman with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force under the Unit Deployment Program.
