TOKYO – They braved heavy snowfall and slippery roads early in their journey, which lasted 10 hours traveling by bus from Misawa Air Base to Tokyo and the American School in Japan Kanto Classic.

After getting a few hours’ sleep, Robert D. Edgren’s boys team pulled out a last-second victory Thursday morning over Kubasaki of Okinawa 30-29.

Adrian Briones hit a foul shot with 10 seconds left to give the Eagles their third win of the season.
