Delightful Desserts: Baking beautiful Black Bottom Cupcakes
Black bottom cupcakes make the world go-round!
Ingredients:
Cake
- 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Filling
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- Combine and beat together all cake ingredients
- Fill cupcake papers ½ full
- Combine and beat together the filling ingredients
- Spoon 2 tbsp of filling on top of cake batter
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes
Tip: A toothpick will come out of the chocolate cake part clean when finished.
