Living in Okinawa can mean never staying in a hotel on island, because the area is small enough that you can never be too far from home. Locals though like to descend upon the luxury hotels nevertheless to try the all-you-can-eat buffets that tourists feast on.

The Tokyo Dai-ichi Hotel Okinawa Grand Mer Resort is the largest luxury hotel in Okinawa City. Its Dress Diner restaurant offers a daily buffet that is very fairly priced for the broad selection of quality entrees, soups, salad, beverages and dessert that are included.

Located on the first floor of the hotel, the buffet is open to the public daily from 11:30 a.m. ~ 3 p.m. (3:30 p.m. on weekends) for lunch and 6 p.m. ~ 10 p.m. for dinner. Diners must be seated one hour before each meal period ends. The lunch buffet is 1,600 for adults, 700 yen for teenagers, and 500 yen for younger children. The dinner buffet is 3,500 yen for adults, 2,500 yen for teens, and 1,500 yen for younger children.
