Havana Curry hits the spot

Havana Curry hits the spot

I’ve driven by Havana Curry multiple times, but never had a chance to stop. The hubby had class one Friday night, so I went for it! It’s a little difficult to find and the parking lot is actually behind the store, but WOW- it’s good.

The counter guy spoke English well enough and there is an English menu. There is tomato, spinach and pork curry, and a fourth option I can’t remember! You pick the spice level 1-20.

I got the half set, which included a drink, salad, pickled veggies and a choice of dessert. I picked the pumpkin and it was VERY good. The half-size curry is small, but the rest of the food made up for it.

I’d go again when I’m in the mood for curry and not CoCo’s. (It is Japanese curry - not Thai or Indian.)

Directions:  Like I said earlier- it’s a little tough to find. Go down 58 bypass like you’re going to Round1. It’s on the left hand side of the road diagonal to the ANA hotel and before the light for the Ginowan Convention Center. Parking is behind the store.

Details:  Try it sometime if you’re in the mood for a small comfy place to eat curry!
