Although the temperature remains high, fall is arriving in Okinawa, at least on the calendar. And that means it’s time for fall traditions.
On Oct. 3, Camp Foster will be holding Oktoberfest 2026 at Parcell Field.
Grab a beer, pretzels and brats to celebrate the classic season Bavarian style. There will also be entertainment and Funland to add excitement and fun to the festival.
According to the city of Munich, which hosts its 191st Oktoberfest from Sept. 19, “Oktoberfest embodies the sense of home and the hospitality of the people of Munich—a folk festival for everyone, offering a wide variety of delightful experiences for all the senses at the highest level of quality.”
Following this spirit, the festival on Oct. 3 will be open to not only DoD ID card holders but also Japanese and American citizens islandwide.
Come to Camp Foster and celebrate the arrival of autumn together!
