Uber Eats delivers on Okinawa
Uber Eats, a go-to now that eating out at restaurants is risky or even prohibited, is now delivering on okinawa.
U.S.-based parent company Uber said its online food ordering and delivery platform launched some areas of Naha and Urasoe on Aug. 25. More than 70 restaurants in Okinawa are participating, Uber said.
This is the 27th Japanese prefecture with Uber Eats service since its 2016 debut in Tokyo.
The limited service in Naha and Urasoe cities will run between 9 a.m. and midnight will launch with 320 yen fee per delivery.
UberEats is available on https://www.ubereats.com/jp or download the app in the App Store or Google Play store.
