3rd Landing Support Battalion conducts a change of command ceremony
U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Justin Hooker, the commanding officer of 3rd Landing Support Battalion, gives his remarks during a change of command ceremony on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, June 15, 2022. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Jeremy Nelson, outgoing commanding officer, passed on the command of 3rd LSB to Lt. Col. Justin Hooker. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
