3rd MLG conducts a change of command ceremony o Camp Kinser
U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Ryan Meltesen, the sergeant major of 3rd Marine Logistics Group, carries the guidon during a change of command ceremony on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, June 24, 2022. During the ceremony, Brig. Gen. Brian Wolford, outgoing commanding general, relinquished command of 3rd MLG to Brig. Gen. Adam L. Chalkley. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
