Back it Up: CLR-3 hosts a Motor Transportation Training and Readiness Rodeo

3rd Marine Logistics Group

U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Randi Spencer, motor transport operator with 3d Transportation Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group (MLG), instructs Marines on how to utilize chains to secure heavy equipment on a 870S trailer during a Motor Transportation Training and Readiness Rodeo hosted by Combat Logistics Regiment 3 on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, May 26, 2021. The purpose of the Motor Transportation Rodeo is to allow Motor Transport Marines across 3d MLG to demonstrate and develop their technical skills. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility. Spencer is a native of Bluewater, New Mexico.
