EOD Marines from III Marine Expeditionary Force, Soldiers with U.S. Army 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry, and Airmen with U.S. Airforce 18th Civil Engineer Squadron EOD, conducted a joint ordnance exploitation range to integrate different branches of service and logistics-based military occupational specialties to facilitate exploitation, focusing on finding solutions to joint EOD challenges and projecting forward sustainment. 3d Marine Logistics Group, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
