U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Shelton, 33rd Rescue Squadron weapons team chief, covers one of the HH-60’s GAU-18/A machine guns at Kadena Air Base, Japan, March 23, 2022. The GAU-18/A is a lightweight variant of the M2/M3, and is used on USAF HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopters.
