Max Effort | Marines with 3rd MLG perform annual CFT

U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Rodger Newcomb tosses a mock-grenade during the maneuver-under-fire portion of the combat fitness test on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 5, 2019. Marines complete a CFT annually to assess their stamina, agility and endurance. The test includes an 880-meter run, ammo can lifts and a maneuver under fire. Newcomb, a native of Owensboro, Kentucky, is the sergeant major of 3rd Marine Logistics Group.
