Sgt. Peter Bonny guides a Humvee to the start line of the Humvee push competition as part of the 3rd Marine Logistics Group 60th Anniversary celebration April 10, 2018 on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The event included eight 5-man teams pushing a Humvee approximately 50 yards with the fastest team coming from Headquarters Regiment with a time of 24.93 seconds. 3rd MLG Marines and Sailors conquered numerous challenges and competed in various team competitions such as sports, fire team and squad competitions, and tug-o-war, and took part in family events and a cake-cutting ceremony. The event celebrated the 60th anniversary of the MLG and built camaraderie between the service members and families. Bonny is a native of Los Angeles and is the platoon sergeant for Heavy Equipment Operations, 9th Engineer Support Bn, 3rd MLG.
