U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jesse Kow, 18th Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, advises an F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot before takeoff, Nov. 30, 2015, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Kadena is the largest combat wing in the Pacific with its abundance of air frames and missions. Kadena's air traffic controllers are responsible for providing air traffic control and operations at one of the busiest airfields in the Air Force.
