Edward C. Killin Elementary School faculty welcomed students and their families back for the first day of school, August 26 on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan.
You know, I love a good pizza. I also love my sushi. In fact, I love it a lot. Unlike pizza, though, whose in-your-face flavours hide weak ingredients, sushi is not much more than a topping and some rice.
SInce we are basically stuck at home for the time being, might as well head to the kitchen and make up some Okinawa soba noodles.
Okinawa Soba

• 1.1 lb semi-strong flour
• Shikomi water (see next)
• Starch
