Next weekend, the Chatan Nirai Harii, the excitement of “one beat one beat” is coming back.

The 13th installment of the race, will be held June 23 at Hamakawa Port near Camp Foster and Kadena Air Base.

This year, six of the 50 teams participating include American competitors.

Go for the race, but stick around for the fun activities like an all-you-can-grab-fish competition for kids, live music, dance performances and fireworks.
